October is my favorite month of the year. The weather is usually pretty perfect- not too hot, not too cold- fall clothes are in full effect (hello cozy sweaters and high boots), and the foliage is like a picture out of a book. With fall comes fun outdoor activities. Whether you have a kid to keep entertained, a pup who needs a city break, or group of friends who know that the end of summer does not mean the end of day drinking, here is a list of places under one hour from Boston that can fulfill all your fall outdoor activities! Get your cozy fall outfit on and get ready for some mini road-trips! Be sure to check out their websites for more information on events and pricing.
